The Qatar University Library, in cooperation with the Lusail Publishing and Distribution House, is organizing the Virtual Book Fair 2021 during the period from March 28, 2021 to April 1,2021, with the participation of more than 300 publishing houses from inside and outside Qatar. The fair comes in the desire of the University Library and the Lusail Publishing and Distribution House to support education and spread culture among members of society by all available means, and an emphasis on the importance of knowledge, science, and the necessity Work to publish them despite the challenges represented by the Corona pandemic. The exhibition is a vivid example of the technological and digital development that the world has reached, which facilitates access to information and resources innovatively. The exhibition will be open around the clock and features a two-dimensional and three-dimensional design to display and sell books that suit all age groups and interests. Lusail Publishing and Distribution House will deliver the books to buyers. This modern display technology enables visitors to view book summaries by visiting the publishing houses available on the virtual platform, which number 300 publishing houses from inside and outside Qatar. Virtual exhibition visitors will be able to search for and select books according to categories, names of publishing houses, desired languages, and other sorting and selection processes.
